Income Protection

Disability coverage protects you financially in the event you cannot work because of an injury or health condition. A portion of your income is protected until you can return to work.

Short-Term Disability (STD) Insurance

STD insurance provides a weekly income benefit if you become disabled due to a covered illness, injury, or pregnancy and are unable to work. Benefits replace a portion of your income during a qualifying short-term disability.

Optional Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance

  • LTD coverage provides income protection if a covered illness or injury prevents you from working for an extended period.
  • This employee-paid benefit helps replace a portion of your income after a qualifying waiting period and is subject to plan provisions.

Hormel Foods partners with Alight for leave administration.
